Curriculum Vitae and Resume differ mainly on following points:
Resume is a one or two page summary of your experience, skills and qualifiications. It is ideally brief and concise. A CV is a longer, more detailed document including educational background, job experience (both part-time and full-time), achievements (paper presentations, awards, publications etc) and other details. Resumes are more relevant to job applications where you don't expect the resume reader to spend more than one or two minutes on it, and making a good first impression is extremely important. CVs are more used for applying to universities for fellowships or grants where details are justified. | ||||||
